CUSTOMER SERVICE POLICY
At Cheat Sheet Design, we strive to provide exceptional service to all of our clients, creating a welcoming and respectful environment for collaboration and creative expression. We value the diverse personalities and design tastes of our clients, recognizing that everyone brings their unique perspectives to the table.
We firmly believe in the importance of respect and understanding between our design staff and clients. We reserve the right to deny service to anyone who fails to comply with our standard operating procedures or acts disrespectfully towards our team. Our priority is to foster a positive and productive working relationship, where every individual feels valued and heard.
PAYMENT
The payment for all services is due in full upon receipt. Payment in full is the only way to solidify your project date in the design queue.
TIMING
By selecting our services at Cheat Sheet Design, you are agreeing to comply with our virtual design process. This process entails providing us with the necessary information about your lifestyle and space, which will enable us to design your space to the best of our abilities. We kindly request that you reply to our information requests in a timely manner to ensure a smooth design experience.
Regrettably, if we do not receive a response from you within three months of our initial request for information, we will be left with no choice but to cancel your order without a refund. However, please note that before taking any such action, we will make multiple attempts to contact you via the email address you provided at purchase. We understand that occasionally our correspondence may end up in your spam folder, so we encourage you to check all folders for our messages. It is essential that you keep an eye out for our communication, especially if you have not heard from us within two business days of your purchase.
PRIVACY AND CONFIDENTIALITY
At Cheat Sheet Design, we prioritize your privacy and strive to maintain the confidentiality of your personal information. We are committed to safeguarding your privacy and will not utilize or sell your personal information to any third parties outside of Cheat Sheet Design. We will only collect and use your information as necessary to fulfill our contractual obligations to you.
ARTISTIC RELEASE
Any and all digital products produced or created in connection with, or in the process of the project are expressly and solely owned by Cheat Sheet Design and may be used in the reasonable course of Cheat Sheet Design's business.
USE OF DESIGNS FOR MARKETING PURPOSES
We may use images of your designed space for marketing purposes. This may include showcasing your design on Cheat Sheet Design’s social media channels and/or website. We understand that your privacy is important, and we assure you that we do not disclose any personal information, such as names or pictures of clients, ensuring your anonymity.
BEFORE AND AFTER IMAGES
When you purchase our services, you acknowledge and agree that we may use a before image of your space alongside the after images for marketing purposes. This allows us to showcase the transformation achieved through our services and demonstrate the quality of our work to potential clients.
IMPORTANCE OF MARKETING FOR SMALL BUSINESS SURVIVAL
As a small business, we heavily rely on online and social media marketing to promote our services and attract new clients. Sharing completed projects and client designs is crucial for our survival and growth. By agreeing to our Terms of Service, you support our ability to reach a wider audience and continue providing exceptional interior design solutions.
OPT-OUT OPTION
We understand that not everyone may wish to have their designed space or before image used for marketing purposes. If you prefer that your designs remain private and not be utilized in our marketing efforts, please inform us at the time of purchase or by contacting hello@cheatsheetdesign.com. We will ensure your request is respected and your designs remain strictly confidential.

LIMITED LIABILITY
Cheat Sheet Design is a decorating consultation service only. All recommendations are regarded as suggestions to improve the look of your space and are not intended for construction purposes.
The Client agrees to provide full information regarding the Client’s requirements for the project.
Cheat Sheet Design will not be responsible for the means, methods or procedures of construction, fabrication, & installation, or safety precautions in connection with the space planning project; for the acts or omissions of the contractor or any, subcontractor, supplier, or other person performing the work on the E- Design project; or, for any failure of them to meet any schedules or completion dates.
Cheat Sheet Design cannot be held responsible for arranging repairs, replacement or freight claims for purchases made in conjunction with recommendations for the E-Design project.
Client agrees that the maximum amount of damages he or she is entitled to in any claim relating to this Agreement or Services provided in this Agreement are not to exceed the Total Cost of Services provided by Cheat Sheet Design.
Client agrees to indemnify, defend and hold harmless Cheat Sheet Design and its affiliates, employees, agents, and independent contractors for any injury, property damage, liability, claim or other cause of action arising out of or related to Services and/or product(s) Cheat Sheet Design provides to Client.
